I am so happy and grateful that you are here. For over five years, we have been teaching people to professionally sew on their serger and coverlock machines. During this time, we have helped over 9000 people learn to sew with their serger or coverlock. I am deeply grateful that the passion I have developed for serging has brought joy to so many people’s lives.
I wasn’t always the best sewist myself:
Around ten years ago, I knew nothing about sewing. I was a total beginner, and the first time I took my serger, a Gritzner 788, out of the box, it all looked so complicated.
Luckily, I was living in Amsterdam, and someone recommended a beautiful sewing boutique where I sewed my first projects on the serger. I loved it!
I always thought threading the machine looked so complicated, but after doing it twice, it started to become easy.
I learned how to work with thread tension and how to use the differential feed.

After some time and using the machine for many hours, I started to become a real professional and tried all the different machines available on the market. I am German and started writing my own blog, which is now one of the most influential serger blogs in Germany: https://www.overlocknaehmaschine.info/.
This was so much fun, and I was so passionate about the serger that I wanted to share my passion with the world. What better way than combining all the knowledge I gained into an online serger course, Liebe Deine Ovi (Love Your Serger). This became Germany’s most popular serger course!
